The sky will not always be blue. It will light up at sunset into a masterpiece night at after night in the brightest colors that artists will never recreate. It will burst into visions of fire at sunrise. Demanding attention and bringing warmth in return. It won\u2019t always be clear. It will be cloudy too. They will look like feathers in an inkwell ready to write a future better than the world we live in now. All that personal belief won\u2019t keep them separate. It will bring them together. They will each be willing to explain that Christ\u2019s tree would always leave room for Buddha. In Sukkot, there are apples enough to share. Diwali\u2019s light shines on us all. They will be willing to listen with hearing aids on high so they don\u2019t miss a moment of the wisdom other\u2019s offer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
They\u2019ll love who they love. They\u2019ll be who they\u2019ll be. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
There will be a One World Government that shares resources. Avacados from the DR to New Jersey. Jersey Tomatoes to London, French croissants to Belize, Sushi to Nepal. Our world has never been so small and our small minded-ideas of the past will make us laugh behind our palms as if we believed the world was flat. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
And someone will say \u201cIt IS flat\u201d but no one will laugh at them. They will listen and understand and agree to disagree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The global constitution will read only \u201cBe Kind\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will not need reminders that all men are equal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will know that the least among us is a god among gods. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
We will know we are all we have. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
